Dr. Anwar Ahmed

Dr. Ahmed received his MS in Mathematical Sciences and his Ph.D. in Biostatistics from Virginia Commonwealth University, USA. With nine years of statistical consultancy experience, he has developed a passion for helping others with their research. This passion drives his consultancy methods. His research has led to more than 25 scientific publications in refereed journals (3 methodological articles), and he plans to continue to publish. His publications focus on public health issues relevant in Arab and African regions and globally. He has successfully supervised 10 MPH students.

His record of awarded research grants shows four proposals funded by King Abdullah International Medical Research Center (KAIMRC) and King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), and currently two proposals have been submitted for funding by KACST, in addition to grants awarded for his students’ research.
He acts as a reviewer for research grants funding applications for KAIMRC and KACST.
